Surface treatment

The rough-split surface is a raw stone surface with the natural appearance and color schemes of different minerals, metal oxidants and corrosion enclosures.

This natural playfulness of colours and shapes on the stone surface makes the Stone-Veneer® so interesting. The stone surface should be impregnated or lacquered where contamination can occur.

For simple applications/demands we recommend
Stone-Veneer® Protection.
This type of impregnation offers sufficient protection without changing the natural stone surface.

Stone-Veneer® Protection is applied with a paint roller. It is environmentally friendly and extremely effective. In this way the surface is protected against soiling and splash water.

For highly stressed surfaces, for example in kitchen areas, we would recommend our 2K-Hydro lacquer Stone-Veneer® Protection ultra.
